 1) The foundations of psychology for human-centred design purposes. Overview of topics that matter in the design of information technology. Characteristics of the human cognition, needs, emotion, motivation, communication and group behaviour. 2) Skills to apply basic knowledge of psychology in design with special focus in information technology. 3) Skills to apply the knowledge from psychology in contemporary work-life and self-development.​

This is a flipped-learning course, where students independently study the weekly materials, submit weekly tasks individually, and get together to work on canvas tasks in small teams in weekly workshops. They submit a team-based Learning Diary and an individual Digital Storytelling assignment. Digital Stories are viewed in small teams in the final event of the course. ​
