Introduction to Leadership for Change, 5 cr

This course is an orientation and introductory course to the Master's Degree Programme in Leadership for Change (LFC). Students learn about Tampere University as a study environment and requirements of the degree programme as well as about the LFC approach to the study of leadership and change dynamics. 

The course consists of three parts: The first part is dedicated to orientation to academic life and the requirements of the degree programme. This part also includes preparing a personal study plan and taking part in a teaching session offered by the university library. The second part is focused on a set of key concepts that give students conceptual tools to analyze organizational and societal change dynamics. The third part consists of literature review workshops.

The second and third part consist of the programme’s own content, whereas the first part is mainly implemented by the university’s centralized services as joint lectures for all international Master’s degree programme students (apart from programme introduction and personal study planning sessions which are implemented within the programme).
