Advanced Studies in Public and Global Health, 95–110 cr

Description

The PGH Advanced Studies consist of the following study entities: Compulosory Core Courses´and Master Thesis Studies 85 ECTS and Elective Studies and Internship 15-25 ECTS (students choose 1-3 courses from the list).

Objectives

After successful completion of the advanced studies the student will be able to describe and analyse major public and global health problems. She/he has developed skills to plan, conduct, assess and report public health research using quantitative and/or qualitative methods. The student has achieved an understanding of global and intersectoral influences on health, global health policy agendas and norms, and skills needed to engage with strategic health policy choices, including with respect to ethical and sustainable development principles.
