Erasmus Teacher Academy EduSTA is excited to invite you for an open online webinar that will delve into the world of badge driven teacher learning for sustainability education. Join us as we present the EduSTA badge constellation that consists of 9 competence based micro credentials on Education for Sustainability. To illustrate its potential, we will share examples of learning module designs, based on these badges, and discuss them with the audience. This webinar is open for (teacher) educators, students and researchers that want to discover the potential of EduSTA badges and wish to engage in co-creating with us through feedback.

1. Exploring the EduSTA Badge Constellation

Introducing the EduSTA consortium and badge constellation and how it came to be, and explore the relevance of educational badges in today’s sustainability education landscape.

2. Learning modules for EduSTA badges

Several partners will share their current designs for learning modules that support the achievement of various EduSTA badges for educational professionals and invite you to co-create new directions for these learning modules.

The webinar will close of with an opportunity to leave further thoughts and questions and of course your contact details if you wish to engage in more detail.

The Academy for Sustainable Future Educators (EduSTA) is an Erasmus+-funded, international project to define practical sustainability competences specifically for vocational teachers. The project will design, build, and pilot a system of digital open badges and supporting competency-based learning, learning environments, and learning materials. The project is led by Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and partners are Universidad de Girona, Spain, Göteborgs Universitet, Sweden, Hanze UAS, the Netherlands and University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic.
