How do performing arts challenge and remake our understandings of urban space? How do creative, art-based methods enable researchers to pose new kinds of questions, and allow for alternative ways of creating research material?

Join the Symposium "Performing Arts in Urban Space, Creative Methods in Social Research" on 11 December to learn and discuss creativity and art-based methods in research. The international keynote speakers are Dr., Lecturer Ian R. Walsh (Drama and Theatre Studies, University of Galway, Ireland) and Dr. Ilaria Bessone (AltroCirco, Italy).

In the afternoon, there is a Call for Papers for those interested in presenting their research using creative, art-based methods and other art-research-related topics.
