Juho Väisänen

Head of innovation services and leading team of 7 highly competent experts in research results valorization and utilization. I have a PhD in biomedical engineering. From 2010 until end of 2018 I was developing and establishing BioMediTech, the joint institute of Tampere University of Technology and University of Tampere in field of biosciences and medical technology. From 2011 until 2019 I was program manager Human Spare parts research program in the BioMediTech and responsible in coordination of commercialization of research projects in BioMediTech. Also developed SPARK Finland program as a development manager during 2017-2023. I was also responsible of SPARK Finland Tampere activities (www.sparkfinland.fi). My core expertise is in project management, large scale research, development and infrastructure funding, utilization and valorization of research results and innovation environment development.
