The course unit explores the various areas, contexts, and practices of the translation in the context of the creative “industries”. The course toughest topics ranging from practical to theoretical in the wide field of translation studies, covering areas such as multimodality, transcreation and intersemiotic translation.

The assessment will focus on three key factors: the ability of students to understand and remember key concepts and fields of application of translation in the creative industries, their ability to apply such methods to create insightful analysis or discussion, and their ability to evaluate their peers work.
