The course is intended for Tampere University students acting as student tutoring organisers. A tutoring organiser is a peer instructor for new student tutors who helps new students and tutors to integrate into the student community and studies. The tutoring organiser plans and coordinates all tutoring activities together with tutors. He or she also takes part in planning the initial study guidance and counselling services together with degree programme representatives, study services and the student union.

Completion option 1
Student tutoring organisers will be expected to write a reflective essay on their activities and respond to a feedback survey, based on which they will receive 3 ECTS credits. The credits can be granted once only.
