Pedagogical Leadership, 5 cr

In the course, the student develops his/her expertise on the organisational structures of the management system of pedagogical development. Furthermore, the student extends his/her self-understanding from being a professional agent to a social advocate, and also deepens his/her related knowledge. The student becomes acquainted with shared leadership and the different sectors and practices of management.

The student realises the relation between immediate leadership and organizational citizenship behavior, and is capable of identifying and improving the factors affecting the welfare of work communities. The student is aware of the methods used to evaluate the pedagogical practices of early childhood education and care organisations, and knows how to plan and implement development processes.
