Gender and Society, 5 cr

This course provides students with in-depth knowledge into gender theories and gender policies. The specific policy field or substantive focus of attention of this course is variable, but based on a gender perspective. Students develop a common understanding of the concept of gender and the contemporary debate on that concept. This course focuses in general on contemporary developments concerning social ideas, society, employment, the family or another societal focus. In addition, the course is taking into concern the concept of intersectionality.
