Kurssilla tulisi olla pääsääntöisesti läsnä, sillä keskustelu on osa suoritusta. Luennot nauhoitetaan, ja ne voi katsoa myös moodlesta. Kaksi poissaolokertaa ei haittaa, ja silloin keskustelu ja luennon kommentointi tapahtuu moodlessa. Jos tulee useampia poissaoloja, esseen volyymia voidaan kasvattaa erillisellä sopimuksella.
