- Content
The programme introduces students to social theory, the historical and doctrinal continuum of social sciences, and the thought and philosophical foundations of the classics. The module will provide students with an insight into the thinking of the classics in their own field of study, as well as the classics of social sciences more broadly, and into political theory and social philosophy.
After completing the programme, the student will have an understanding of social theoretical question formulations and some of the classics of social theory and the core of their conceptual thinking. Students will be able to relate their own research questions and contemporary research to the thinking of some of the classics in their field of study.
