After completing the specialization in Ultrafast Photonics and Lasers the student is able to:

- understand the advanced concepts of ultrafast laser technology and intense laser light interaction with matter

- understands the physical principles underlying the development of ultrafast lasers and their relevance

- experiment with ultrafast laser systems and the propagation dynamics of intense light

- solve advanced problems and tasks on ultrafast optical phenomena

- define applications of lasers and ultra-fast lasers
