TLC theme week: Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) – Support for teaching and guidance staff, get involved in the TLC network!

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) of the Tampere Universities community is a network that brings together pedagogical expertise and the information and services needed by teachers. TLC supports all those who teach in our community by increasing community spirit and offering opportunities for networking.

The TLC blog focuses on the development of education, insights related to teaching, sheer admiration for learning, and basically anything that teachers in the universities and higher education may encounter in their work. In case you feel you might have something to contribute, do not hesitate to contact us!

The Teachers’ Lounge provides an internal discussion forum for the Tampere higher education community; and access requires logging in with your TUNI credentials.

Through the Pedagogical research and projects page, we highlight the results of projects and studies. If you would like to share specific project or research results on the TLC website, browse the content of the TLC site first and find the suitable topics where the results of your project or research will give additional value and then inform these to TLC.

TLC’s operations are based on joint knowledge formation and sharing. Tampere higher education community staff can request help and training for pedagogical planning through TLC.

You can tell the team about a publication related to developing education and teaching or a research or development project, suggest a new discussion area for the Teachers’ Lounge or propose new content for the site.
