After finishing the course the student can explain stages of different converting and packaging processes including dispersion coating, lamination, printing, forming, filling and closing of the package. She/he is also able to evaluate demands that these stages set on the properties of the packaging materials. The student is also able to recognize possible problems existing during packaging processes and outline solutions of these problems. Aim is that he/she can find connection between theory and packaging processes in practice.
