Passing a final exam and completing a group project assignment acceptably. Final exam is based on the lectures and additional material. Lectures are all video recorded. The group work includes a mid-term report and a final report. Group project is evaluated with the scale pass / pass with compliments. The groups which have passed the group project with the grade pass with compliments will get a one level higher grade of the course than their exam indicates if the exam grade is not zero. |
Osaamistavoitteet
The purpose of the course is to introduce the students to the functioning of the health care system and to the work flows of different professional groups in health care and also to the information systems that serve these health care processes.

The student should participate or view the lectures and study the additional material individually. The student must actively participate in the group project work and exercises.

Tietoa esitietovaatimuksista
The student should have the basic knowledge of what is an information system and its architecture. The student should have the basic understanding of usability or user experience of ICT systems. Programming skills are not absolutely necessary but very useful.
