Learning Outcomes
After taking the course the student can present the basic information about psychology and apply these in the design of information technology. The psychological topics include human information processing and memory, decision making, human needs and values, emotions and motivation, creativity, personality, communication, group behaviour, psychology of consumption, and designing for special groups.From a technical point of view, the course focuses on pervasive computing systems, such as smart environments, context awareness and augmentation of human activities with information technology.
