Osaamistavoitteet

Student selects a given topic in the field of power electronics or suggests their own and identifies the phenomenon to be studied or a specified goal that should be achieved. Before starting the project the student must get their preliminary project plan accepted by one of the available examiners. The availability of this course may vary depending on which examiners are currently free. The available examiners are listed on the course webpage which will be updated accordingly. Credits earned from passing the project work are to be agreed with the examiner before starting. The amount of credits depend on scope and expected complexity of the topic. Suggested topics are available at the course webpage and change according to research and teaching activities at EEE. Only one project work per topic is allowed and the topic may be given based on a motivation letter, study record or other means in case there are more than one student applying for the same topic. There are no lectures, exercises or other such activities in this course. Main responsibility of the progress and completion of this course lies with the student while the examiner's role is to provide support and act as a mentor.
