Learning Outcomes
- | After completing the study module, a student:
-will have the knowledge and skills to manage the safety, security and risk management operations of organisations -will understand the roles and responsibilities of managers, supervisors, employees, planners and designers in the development of health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) activities -will acquire a solid grounding in safety engineering and understand its importance for individuals, organisations and the environment -will be familiar with the key technologies related to safety engineering -will gain a thorough understanding of the operating principles and methods related to individual machines, extensive production systems, and safety planning in the process industry -will be able to identify and analyse the safety, health and environmental risks related to production, products and services. They will understand the importance of system reliability for safety and availability -will develop the necessary expertise in safety engineering and management to address safety, health and environmental risks related to production, products and services. |
