Course objectives
Become familiar with design of embedded DSP systems.
Content of the course
Architectural aspects of signal processors. Survey of fixed-point and floating-point data paths, memory architectures, and pipeline effects. Programming in assembly language, especially implementations with fractional data types. Design of signal processing systems. DSP software tools.
