Course objectives
Design and build scaled PCB version of a RF-ASIC for modern receiver and transmitter architectures. The course is of essential importance for Communications Circuits Design, which is further continued by 8307050 RF-ASIC and 8307060 Seminar-II.
Content of the course
Study, design, simulate, build and measure the printed circuit board (PCB) of a new GHz-range circuit scaled down in frequency. For example: LNA, VCO/ICO, PowAmp, PLL, T/H etc.
Requirements
Measured performance of the completed PCB version, which meets the specifications and written report.
Literature
The materials will be given later, depends on the designed PCB.
