Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning

-

Objectives

After completing the course you have hands-on experience on building an ECG measurement device. You have learned how the biopotential amplifier works in practice and the design principles affecting the measurement. You have learned how different interference/noise sources affect the measurement.

Content

Content Core content Complementary knowledge Specialist knowledge
1. Design and construction of amplifier for electrical biosignal measurement.
2. Measurement of biosignal by self-designed and constructed bioamplifier. Interference coupling to the measurement system.
3. Electrical lead field in homogeneous and inhomogeneous volume. Reciprocity theorem.

Evaluation criteria for the course

Each laboratory work will be evaluated in scale of 0-5 and the final course grade will be their average.
