Learning outcomes

After completing the course you know the theories of bioelectric and biomagnetic phenomena in living tissue. You can also apply the theories in studying of bioelectrical measurements. You have learned how the theories are related to the clinical diagnostics.

Content

Content Core content Complementary knowledge Specialist knowledge
1. Nervous, sensory and muscle cells as bioelectric and biomagnetic sources, and their modelling.
2. Modelling of living tissues as volume conductors.
3. Theoretical analysis methods of bioelectric recordings.
4. Bioelectric and biomagnetic signals and their use in clinical diagnosis.
5. Electrical and magnetic stimulation.
