Description:
This course builds on the assumed basic knowledge of the physics of semiconductors and junctions to study on a microscopic scale the operation of junction diodes (review), field effect and junction transistors and some special topic devices such as tunnel diodes and memristors. In addition, some of the special properties of organic semiconductors and devices are briefly addressed.
