Learning outcomes

To master surprising interpreting situations, to prevent problems, to be in control of tension and performance anxiety, to outline the assignment, to be able to process the material faster, to provide stronger arguments to negotiations between the interpreter, client and the people whose speech is being interpreted.

Contents

Analysing different interpreting situations, working the interpreting material, organising the work, problem-management, processing surprising situations and performance anxiety. Shadowing and prima vista exercises.
