Learning outcomes

To act professionally in all the stages of a translation process and to act as an expert of intercultural communication. To be able to advise clients on their communicative needs, to recognise clients' communicative needs and to be able to determine, which translation process is suitable to those needs. To produce such a translation in working language B that a target-language communication expert can effortlessly transform it into a publishable product.

Different stages and factors of a translation process, such as drawing up an estimated price, making an offer and checking the prints. Producing functional translations. Filling different roles of the process, such as acting as a client and a proof-reader.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by exercises and acting in different roles.
