Students will prepare a Personal Study Plan (PSP):The PSP is drafted individually after an initial consultation between the coordinator of the programme and the student. The PSP is a document that is a work in progress that will be modified as necessary in the course of studies, especially regarding the focus and objectives for each student’s thesis. The PSP begins with the required curriculum for all students in this programme and includes coursework taken as electives that support individual interests.
Selection criteria: Priority is given to degree students. Otherwise the selection criterion is the date of registration. Selections on view: The final course lists will be posted on the Language Centre's notice board on 28 August.

Students will be accepted to the course in the following order:
1. degree students of the MDP in Media Education
2. other degree students of UTA
3. exchange students
Course is offered only to the master's degree students in Media Education and Media Management programme.
Students select a target, context and pedagogic means to their project after discussion with the person in charge of the study module. It is possible to implement the research-based project in media, school, youth work etc. in a media educational context. Media educational internship is one possible mode of the project.
An internship can be included to this module.

Thesis planning and writing process will start with kick-off meetings in the spring term.
