TAMK Applied Research Center (ARC) is a multidisciplinary center of excellence in applied research, and RDIC partner in selected strategic theme and spearhead areas.  

Our goals

The main objectives of the unit are to:

  • strengthen the profile of TAMK and the Tampere Region in applied research, development and innovations
  • increase the RDIC activities of companies and communities in the region, as well as their internationality and service capacity
  • increase the impact of RDIC activities in the region through open data and publications.

In cooperation with TAMK schools and the Project Management Office, we clarify and strengthen TAMK's strategic multidisciplinary RDIC spearheads. We systematically utilise domestic and international financial instruments for the benefit of businesses.

We offer the entire competence potential, operating models, methods, technologies and RDIC environments of TAMK to our partners in research, development and innovation activities and competence development.

We create research-based innovations and solutions for the themes of green and just transition through practical research and development.

We respond to the competence needs of our partners and help companies grow responsibly. We know the diverse funding opportunities for RDIC cooperation, so we will offer support n planning the financing of your development project.
