If you have decided to make a testamentary provision or change an existing will, you can discuss the matter with us. We understand that anything to do with wills and inheritance is very private, but you may rest assured that any matters you discuss with us will remain strictly confidential.

Your trustee, lawyer, bank or similar agent can help you make a will. We cannot provide legal or financial advice on bequets, but we are happy to talk to you or your representative about a donation that is in accordance with your wishes.

The bequest can be allocated to Tampere University’s donation funds, which there are six:

We may also discuss more specific allocations within the funds.

We will use your donation to conduct education and research with a long-term, forward-looking perspective in a responsible and sustainable way. The assets you leave will continue to further the cause of your choosing.

The Industrial Research Fund at Tampere University of Technology sr supports research and other activities in engineering and architecture. The Fund fulfils its purpose by awarding grants and scholarships. 
 
The Fund receives bequests with which a donor fund in the name of the donor may be established, or researchers may be supported with grants and scholarships.

Bequests made to the Industrial Research fund at Tampere University of Technology by natural persons or estates are not tax-deductible. Corporate entities may deduct some donations that are granted for the purpose of conserving cultural history or promoting science or arts, which amount to at least €850 (Section 57, Business Tax Act).

The University of Tampere Foundation sr was established in 1973 to support the operations of the University of Tampere. Since the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology merged in 2019, the University of Tampere Foundation has continued to support research in the fields represented at the former university. Donations are directed to research and education in
