Inaugural lectures by new professors

Inaugural lectures are delivered by newly appointed professors at Tampere University to present an overview of their research to the scientific community, external stakeholders, and the public. For the University, inaugural lectures are an occasion to welcome new professors to the university community.

In their inaugural lectures, our new professors provide an introduction to their field of research and discuss the latest achievements, key questions and directions for future research.
