About me
I am working on a doctoral dissertation about decision-making and organizational culture in the Finnish publishing houses of literal fiction. The work combines media research with the sociology of art and literature.
I am interested in the material reality, work cultures and the socio-economical aspects of making literature. The publishing field is undergoing relatively rapid changes that challenge the way that books and writers are produced. The everyday work of book publishers is relatively under-researched and I find it ever so inspirational to dig into that matter.
In my free time I raise my family and work on some literal masterpieces, unpublished for the time being.
