Place: Tampere University, Central Campus (Pinni B1097) and 3DStep, Ylöjärvi
Time: 27th of November – 11th of December, 2024, with the four full-day meeting days on 27.11, 29.11, 04.12, and 11.12
Join us for the 1st Winter School on 3D DigitAInability! A program designed to explore the exciting potential of 3D printing (additive manufacturing) for fostering innovation and environmental responsibility.
The Winter School combines:
Lectures and Demonstrations - Learn from expert speakers about emerging trends in sustainability, digitalization, effective 3D modelling techniques, and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing these fields.
Innovation Workshops and Hands-On Prototyping - Participate in guided brainstorming, design thinking exercises, and toolchain optimization for 3D printing. Design your own products using AI tools, supported by industry professionals.
Manufacturing with Industrial 3D Printers - Experience real-world applications of polymer and metal 3D printing technology.
By the end, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of 3D digitainability, sustainable design, and the power of additive manufacturing for positive environmental impact.
Registration deadline: 20.11.2024, 23.59 (UTC+3)
For students of Tampere University registration in SISU ITC.CEE.300-05, Seminar on Prototyping Winter School on DigitAInability, 25.11.2024–13.12.2024. University students will receive 2 ECTS for completing this course.
