A fresh batch of exchange students is arriving to Tampere University in January 2025, and to help them, we are recruiting student tutors from all subject associations and campuses in October. You can join by completing the application form on TREY’s website!
The application round runs between 1 - 18 October 2024. After tutor selections in late October, all new tutors are asked to join a training session in November. More information will be provided to tutors closer to the training and you can also join our Q & A on international student tutoring for exchange students in the spring semester 2025 on 8 October 2024.
International student tutoring offers fresh experiences, the opportunity to meet new people and a chance to practice your language skills. We require an open mind, a dedicated mindset and a willingness to help our exchange students. The main language of international student tutoring is English. New tutors can complete the tutoring course and obtain 2 credits that can be added to your degree’s internationalisation module. All tutors are also eligible for a small compensation.

Target audience
All Tampere University students interested in international student tutoring, including our first year students (fuksis)! Please note that international student tutoring begins with a training in November and continues until May 2025. New tutors can complete the tutoring course (2 credits) that you can add to the internationalisation module of your degree. All tutors also receive a small compensation for their work.
