FSRUO coordinates and promotes Finnish activities related to the use of synchrotron light and free-electron lasers in research. The workshop is locally organized at Tampere University by Surface Science Group. Senior Research Fellow Harri Ali-Löytty, who is an FSRUO board member, will act as the chairman of the organizing committee.
The event program is targeted to researchers and doctoral students, who are looking for top-level results that only the utilization of synchrotron light facilities and free-electron lasers can provide. Researchers from Surface Science Group have been engaged in designing and constructing the FinEstBeAMS beamline in MAX IV Laboratory that serve as an example of such an infrastructure.
The event is open for everyone and there are no registration fees. Webinar program has been announced at the event webpage.
