Tampere Peace Research Institute organizes panel discussion about war in Ukraine. Panel starts by three short presentations, after which there will be time reserved for questions and comments.

The Russian invasion into Ukraine and the return of total war in the heart of Europe has profoundly trembled our trust in peaceful future of our continent. At this dark moment of European history, it is important to reflect on its immediate and longer-term implications, paying specific attention to the question of how to minimize human suffering and the prospects for peaceful future.

Participants: Senior Researcher Marko Lehti (TAPRI), Senior Researcher Anitta Kynsilehto (TAPRI), Guest Researcher Natalia Djandjgava (CMI – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation)
Moderator: Bruno Lefort (TAPRI)
