Learning Society

To organize and coordinate a learning environment suitable for the area of Hiedanranta and in the framework of vocational education

Hiedanranta Learning Society is a project designed to develop vocational teaching in accordance with the reform of
vocational upper secondary education. The goal of the project is to develop an innovative learning environment to
better serve the youth, adults and immigrants that are in challenging positions in regards to their access to education
and employment. Besides the target group mentioned above, the learning environment will also benefit the businesses
in the area and their need for labour force. The learning environment is called a Learning Society. The Learning Society concept will serve the client group who do not benefit from the already existing work-based ways
of learning.
