We offer courses on highly interesting and timely topics in education, such as media education, digital literacies, game-based learning, educational technology and inclusive education, that together empower you to tackle the challenges of teaching and learning.

Through one of the programme’s working life courses, you also have the possibility to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills gained from your studies in a practical working environment in Finland or abroad. Our strong research tradition makes it possible to consider timely issues from a multidisciplinary perspective.

After completing the programme, you will have an extensive understanding of the relationships between teaching and learning in today’s media-saturated society. You will also have the conceptual tools needed to design learning experiences to meet the needs of diverse learners and enhance the quality of education. 

Graduates of the programme will become experts in public, private, and civil society sectors. They can work, for example, as educational experts, instructional designers, training specialists, researchers, or administrators.
