About me
I am a disability historian and author (with David Turner) of Disability in the Industrial Revolution.
As a member of the 'Lived Religion and the Changing Meaning(s) of Disability' team based at HEX, my current research focuses on the significance of religious beliefs and practices to understandings and experiences of disability in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
