David Diaz-Guerra Aparicio
About me
I studied telecommunications engineering at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), where I obtained my Ph.D. degree in March 2023 with my thesis A Geometric Deep Learning Approach to Sound Source Localization and Tracking. I am now a postdoctoral researcher at the Audio Research Group of Tampere University (Finland), where I worked on sound source separation within the European Research and Innovation (RIA) project REPERTORIUM and I'm now conducting my own research project on spatial audio funded by the Tampere Institute for Advanced Study (IAS).

My main areas of expertise are sound source localization, tracking and separation using deep learning techniques.
