About me

I am a professor of Physics. Specializing in Aerosol Physics, I lead the Aerosol Physics Laboratory .

Aerosol particles strongly affect the radiative forcing of our climate, while exposure to particulate matter forms a major global health problem. Our laboratory studies the aerosol processes, sources, and emissions, as well as effects on air quality and atmosphere. My own research interests cover aerosol measurement techniques, emissions of engines, vehicles, and ships – especially nanoparticles, volatility, and secondary aerosol formation potential.
