I am Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in health and social policy. My research interests include health system reforms, health care policy, private services and integrated care. I am also Docent in social and public policy at University of Jyväskylä. My research interest include health systems, health policy and health system reforms.

Research career
I got my PhD in health and social policy in 2013 at the University of Tampere. Before starting in tenure-track I have worked in various teaching and research posts at the University of Tampere, as a senior researcher at THL (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) and as a researcher at the University of Oslo. I have also been a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am also a country expert for European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
