Markku Renfors
About me
I am a professor in communications engineering, with emeritus status since the beginning of 2020.
My research area is signal processing in communication systems: waveforms, modulation methods, and flexible transmitter and receiver architectures based on advanced digital signal processing, considering also methods to mitigate RF imperfections. Recently I have focused on waveforms for beyond 5G systems with low peak-to-average power-ratio (PAPR) and excellent spectrum localization.
