In the Aerosol Emissions and Air Quality group, we focuse on urban atmospheric aerosols, outdoor and indoor air quality, and particle emissions from anthropogenic sources, such as engines, vehicles and power plants. By detailed characterization of aerosols, we aim to the understanding of primary and secondary particle formation, to find new methods to mitigate the emissions, and to understand how the anthropogenic aerosol emissions affect air quality, human health and climate.
