AIsola assesses social isolation among the older people. A mixed methods approach is applied to a sample of seniors living independently in Tampere. The project aims to formulate a comprehensive view of the phenomenon by means of two complementary empirical studies: one analyses the socio-spatial contextual conditions of the older people and, the other, tracks their behavioural patterns by means of Artificial Intelligent systems.
