Finland has a longstanding history of technological innovation, and many Finnish companies are at the forefront of offering innovative solutions. However, many of these innovations are not successful, especially when adapted/adopted in new markets, particularly in the developing regions.
The aim of the COFIRD project is to build a novel Finnish Indian co-creation platform for Finnish companies and researchers from Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) to scale up the technical knowhow and carry out R&D activities utilizing the local testbed environment. Such an approach will open opportunities for Finnish companies and lead to smooth transition of technological innovations and create a co-creation platform suitable for the local context in the developing market.
Our goal is an internationally impressive research and business consortium that utilizes the local co-creation test-bed environment, expertise, and network as well as Finnish expertise, especially in technology, health, and education. The project idea has developed through previous projects and accumulated know-how at Tampere University.
