The aim of COSMOS cohort study is to provide scientific evidence on potential health hazards due to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) from mobile phone use. COSMOS is a cohort study, with almost 15 000 Finnish participants.
The COSMOS study is conducted in collaboration with similar research projects in Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, France and the Netherlands. Altogether there are almost 300 000 participants in the study.

Tutkimus on käynnistetty osana WIRECOM (Wireless Communication Devices and Human Health) -tutkimusohjelmaa, jota rahoitti Tekes (nyk. Business Finland).
