Supporting digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector. Creating new and joint curricula or courses.

Goal

Green Education in Media (GEM) project reconnects media curricula to today’s environmental reality, creates new sustainable media courses and supports digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector.

GEM is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership between nine international partners. Together they are working on:
•     Environmental awareness and fight against climate change
•     Supporting digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector
•     Dissemination of green skills among teachers and students
•     Creating new sustainable curricula and courses
•     Digital content, technologies and practices

GEM explores these challenges from different perspectives, which will each be pursued in dedicated work-packages:
•     Alternative media learning spaces
•     Environmental Impact of Media Design & Production
•     Stories of environmental impact and climate change
•     Building an environmental media curriculum
