  • Lifestyle interventions in the prevention and treatment of long-term illnesses. Several collaborative projects. (Pilvikki Absetz)

  • Futures of Finnish Maternity Care. The project explores public and private preganancy care services. Specific focus will be in the commercialisation of care and the needs and wishes directed at services. (Marjaana Jones)

  • Patient and public involvement in healthcare. The focus of the doctoral thesis is on the recent developments in Finnish health policies and services, which bring brand new expertise into healthcare development and delivery in the form of lay expertise and experiential knowledge.  (Marjaana Jones)

  • Prevention and treatment of incontinence in Finnish maternity clinics. The dissertation explores the barriers and facilitating factors for the prevention and treatment of incontinence among pregnant and postpartum women in maternity clinic work. The aim is to find solutions for the systematic and widespread implementation of incontinence prevention and treatment in Finnish maternity clinics. (Tuulia Lahtinen)
