Goal of the Living Lab Bus (LLB) environment is to enable the development, testing and demonstration of various services and technologies by using innovative electric buses as a concrete platform in a real use environment. The innovation environment is implemented in co-operation with private companies and research organizations together with the support of the public sector.
Background
Tampere University is responsible for the end-user involvement to develop and evaluate the transportation services in the LLB experimentation environment. Based on the needs of end-user and other stakeholders, we develop design tools for the developers of the novel digital services in the bus context. The research will produce information, solutions and design guidelines that can be used to develop services also for the global transportation markets.
