Goal
Manufacturing Academy 2.0 is a project implemented jointly by Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and SASKY education association (Sasky). It aims to promote skills and training in key manufacturing processes relevant to the manufacturing industry in Pirkanmaa area in order to both respond to the labor shortage and implementation of the goals of the green and digital transition. The project will implement a training pilot, during which a group of
experts will be trained to respond to the growing and immediate labor demand of one of the manufacturing industry's processes grinding.
In the short term, the project primarily offers new experts to meet the demand for one of the key processes in the manufacturing industry, grinding. In addition to this, the project renews the process training of the manufacturing industry in a way that better corresponds to the digital and green transition. The long-term effects of the project (five years or more) are related to establishing the educational model developed in the project and increasing the attractiveness of the field among young people. industry by bringing digitization into practice through new, established operating models.
